About

I got tired of installing mods blind

I am a solo developer. I run Claude Code all day across a handful of small projects, and I install plugins the way most people do: read a one-line description, copy two commands, hope for the best.

The recurring problem is that a directory can tell you what a mod claims to do without making it easy to find the source, understand the installation or check the access that comes with it. This site puts those practical details next to the feature description.

The rule is no borrowed recording presented as our own. A terminal capture appears only when it was generated for that specific mod. Other pages are clearly labeled as source-checked directory entries, so a useful listing does not have to pretend it received a full hands-on review.

What each page tells you

A direct source link, the documented installation and the commands you use afterwards. Capability notes explain what the mod reads, writes, whether it reaches the network and whether it spends usage. Where an original recording exists, it appears first; where it does not, the page says so instead of substituting another mod's capture.

What this site will not do

  • No paid placement. Order comes from GitHub stars and from what I actually keep installed. Nobody can buy a position.
  • No disguised review claims. A star count is not a review and repository research is not a hands-on test. Each page distinguishes them.
  • No pretending this is official. This is not Anthropic. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Claude and Claude Code are their trademarks.

How mods get here

Two ways. I find them — GitHub topics, the plugin marketplace, and whatever people keep mentioning in threads. Or an author sends one in, which is faster and free. Either way it goes through the same first step: verify the source and document its actual install path and capabilities. Original recordings are added separately and marked as such.

If a page is wrong, outdated, or missing what it can touch, tell me and I will fix it or pull the listing. I would rather lose a row than be the site that sent someone into a bad install.
