What changes after installation

Cache Bell watches cache lifetime and context size. It can ask before an idle cache expires, offer renewal or compaction, and request compaction after the context passes a chosen level. /bell status explains the current state and /bell log lists previous compactions.

The status line shows cache state and a countdown near expiry. /bell demo 30 previews the question without sending a request.

Good to know

The documented interface is terminal-focused and experimental. Remote sessions may not show the question before its countdown ends, so review the default unanswered behavior carefully. Cache lifetime assumptions differ between subscription and API-key setups.
